With the Christmas season right upon us the Stratford Christmas Trail is a great gift for your more adventurous family members and friends, or even for yourself! You can stop by at Stratford Tourism Alliance at 47 Downie Street or go online at www.visitstratford.ca to purchase 6 vouchers for 6 gifts for only $30.00 + HST at 25 participating stores in Stratford, St. Marys and Shakespeare.
Vouchers are redeemable until December 20, 2018. All stores are mapped out on the Christmas Trail brochure but the hard part is choosing!
Gifts from participating stores include a candy cane whipped sugar scrub from Got It Made at 27 Ontario Street, Stratford. It’s a gentle exfoliant made of sugar and essential oils you can use anywhere on your body.
For a more “manly” gift The Artful Badger at 98 Downie Street, Stratford is offering 60ml of their luxurious “Classic Rum” shave cream or 60ml of the “Spiced Cedarwood” beard oil.
If an all Canadian and ethically made gift would be a perfect gift The Distill at 96 Downie Street, Stratford is offering a ceramic dish perfect for holding rings, teabags, coins or spoons. Handmade by the owner Allison Skinner, each dish is glazed and unique in colour and shape.
Bradshaw’s at 129 Ontario Street, Stratford, a popular destination for kitchenware, gifts and home décor since 1895, is offering a retro style porcelain mug with a pouch of hot chocolate.
Moonshine anyone? You can redeem your voucher at Junction 56 Distillery at 45 Cambria Street, Stratford for a sample of “Fireshine Cinnamon Moonshine” and “Chocolate Mint Liqueur” made in conjunction with Rheo Thompson Candies.
You will also find coffee, tea, shortbread and much more on the trail. A tip for trailers: not all stores are open every day so it’s best to check your brochure before you head out. Many stores are closed on Mondays in Stratford.
