Special Holiday Events in Stratford

As busy as the holiday season becomes it’s always special to attend a festive event that also helps a good cause. Stratford is spreading good will and cheer with many festivities and here’s just three you may take a fancy to.

Fans of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol can enjoy a dramatic reading accompanied by world class musicians at The Stratford Festival Theatre on Friday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. and help fund the building of the Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice scheduled to open in 2019. Adrienne Arsenault, an anchor on CBC’s The National, as well as renowned actors Cynthia Dale and Tom McCamus are just three of the seven readers participating. Last year’s show raised $40,000.00 for the much needed Hospice. For tickets call the Stratford Festival Box Office at 519-273-1600 or 1-800-567-1600 or visit their website at www.stratfordfestival.ca . Tickets are $30.00, $40.00 or $50.00.
