On the edge of Stanley Park Conservation Area is a gem of a neighbourhood. Kitchener’s Rosemount neighbourhood is the place for people who like to be out and about. At the centre of Rosemount is the Krug Street plaza, just one of the many shopping centres in the neighbourhood offering plenty of conveniences for residents.
The homes here were mainly built in the 1960s and later on nice sized lots and today showcase well cared for lawns.
Other areas of Kitchener are easily accessible from Rosemount given its boundaries of Victoria Street North in the north, the Stanley Park Conservation Area, as mentioned, in the east, Ottawa Street North in the south and the Conestoga Parkway in the west.
And just on the other side of Stanley Park Conservation Area is the neighbouring community of Heritage Park, a neighbourhood comprising mainly single detached homes. In addition to the Conservation Area, Rosemount and Heritage Park offers an assortment of other attractions close by, including Victoria Park, Schneider Haus National Historic Site, Bingeman’s, The Museum and more.
