Lincoln Village is ideally situated close to Conestoga Mall, Uptown Waterloo, both universities (Sir Wilfred Laurier and University of Waterloo) as well as the expressway, offering easy access for work, study, entertainment and shopping. Lexington on the other hand, offers nature-loving residents one step closer to the Grand River and its many trails and wildlife. Lexington is home to plenty of parks, baseball diamonds and soccer fields, making it an ideal location for families. Near by is RIM Park, a state-of-the-art indoor sports facility featuring two indoor rinks and two outdoor fields and an 18-hole public golf course. Many home owners are also attracted to the beautiful, large mature trees in Lexington that offer shady cover and aesthetic appeal to homes.

Lexington has a public school, Lexington Public School for grades K-6. Students go to Margaret Avenue School for grades 7-8. High school students take the bus to Bluevale Collegiate Institute. Catholic school children attend St. Matthew’s Elementary School or St. David’s Catholic Secondary School.
