They feature handmade ornaments, delectable food and traditional song and dance performances. This tradition was brought to Waterloo Region in 1997. With Kitchener City Hall closed due to construction and public health restrictions, the 2021 Christkindl Market offers many options: online, outdoors and self guided tours.

In 2021, Christkindl Market is online and outdoors! This multiple award-winning festival attracts over 40,000 visitors from across North America and even more online. Vendors offer specialty foods of the season, Gluhwein and Christmas décor to giftware, clothing, and so much more.
